I've heard a LOT about "Fit over 40" recently on blogs and forums by people looking for resources on how to lose weight. I started looking at other Fit Over 40 reviews, and from everything I read, this resource was considered excellent. I got so curious that I finally broke down and got my own copy, and I have to say, I agree wholeheartedly with all the positive reviews I have seen.
For background, I am 38, obviously not quite 40, but for the first time in my life, during my mid 30's, I went from being underweight and "wirey" to being about 30 lbs overweight. I have always been more active than average (or so I thought) and generally watched what I eat. Bottom line, my metabolism was slowing down, and my diet was slipping (hint: red wine at dinner several times a week doesn't help with cutting calories or pounds!)

I say that because the book includes examples of people that had to overcome a lot of hurdles to reach their weight loss goals, and I found this to be truly inspiring. It helps to know that others have had similar challenges and have overcome them. Also, with a background in Martial Arts and Yoga, mind/body concepts are a favorite topic of mine, and it made sense to me that this would be a key element in being successful with my weight loss goals.

One woman became a famous stuntwoman after having been paralized and clinically "died" twice. Others went on to be competitive body builders. The cool thing is, the book includes actual email addresses of the people that are featured in the case studies, so we can contact them to ask questions or simply say hello. That really removed any doubt for me that these testimonials were indeed real and truthful.
I have not even finished this book, but I am already really enjoying it, and I can feel and see how the techniques I am learning are helping me get closer each day to reaching my weight loss goals. The bonus aspect of the book is that really inspires me to look beyond just the issue of weight, to reach new levels of health and success on multiple levels. Very inspiring, and I highly recommend it.
(P.S. If for any reason you DON'T like it, they do offer a 60 day return policy, no questions asked. Since it is an ebook, if you request a refund, they let you keep the ebook anyway. Kinda nice to know there is no risk of losing money before you buy.)
